Eid Al-Fitr is a religious holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. It is the first of the two Muslim holidays celebrated worldwide each year, known as Little Eid. It is a time to give to those in need and celebrate with friends, family and loved ones.

Eid Al-Fitr will most probably be on Friday, June 15 2018. The exact dates may vary as it's based on a lunar calendar so depends on the sighting of the moon, but the biryani always tastes as good!

Eid Al-Fitr, is a three-day Muslim festival that marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. It means the "festival of breaking the fast".

How is Eid Al-Fitr celebrated?

People put on their best clothes and the day starts with morning prayers and then a lot of delicious food and the exchanging of gifts with family and friends. Giving money to charity also is an important aspect of this festival. Remember to say 'Eid Mubarak' to all your friends who are celebrating this holiday.
