Earth Day will be on Monday, April 22 2019, Earth Day has been celebrated annually on April 22 since 1970.

What is Earth Day?

Earth Day, the celebration of Mother Earth, was conceived of by Gaylord Nelson, a senator from Wisconsin in the USA as he believed that the environment was not being addressed in politics or by the media. It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network and celebrated in more than 193 countries each year.

How can I celebrate Earth Day?

Attend an event to demonstrate support for environmental protection in the over the 193 countries that the Earth Day Network has coordinated. An estimated 20 million people nationwide attended festivities that day.
